KS2 Sports Day Event Tomorrow

TweetHaving checked the weather forecast, we are hopeful that KS2 (Y3-6) Sports Day Event tomorrow will go ahead as planned. Reminder: 9am Bacon butties and tea or coffee 9.30am Races- prompt start! Due to today’s poor weather the grass might still be slightly damp so trainers and a spare pair of socks for the children is advisable.

Outstanding Arts Award Winners for the Fifth time!

Year 3/4 BFG Workshop

TweetToday we took part in an exciting workshop as part of our studies of Roald Dahl’s wonderful novels. The workshop focused on ‘The BFG’ and the children took part in a range of drama activities, including freeze frames and hot seating. They also revisited some exciting extracts from the text.

Horizon Schools’ Olympic Event

TweetToday, 12 children in KS2 attended an Olympic event with other children from local schools. They spent the day with athletes Leah Barrow and Lisa James, both aspiring to compete in this year’s Olympic games in Rio. The children enjoyed listening to them share their inspirational journeys to success as well as took part in a range of athletics throughout the day.
