On November 25th the three teams of four players reconvened at Netherton Moss for a second chess challenge competition.
The tutors were again impressed both by the standard of play of the children, and the sportsmanship and behaviour of the children was again first class.
Netherton Moss were very gracious hosts, but once the chess started they played ruthlessly and only conceded two draws against their opponents. This left the final scores as follows:
Netherton Moss 7 pts
St William of York 3 pts
Hatton Hill 2 pts
Hannah Hodgson and Henry Hayden Davenport from Netherton Moss won both their games. Sean McGivern from St William also won both his games, while Joshua Webster scored a win and a draw for Hatton Hill.
