Educate Awards 2013 – We Won!

This is the second annual Educate Awards, sponsored by Connex Education. We entered Outstanding Arts in a Primary School category and are delighted to have won first prize… again!

This year’s sparkling event was held at the stunning Anglican Cathedral where we were entertained by some of the most talented performers from local schools in Merseyside and feasted on dishes provided by 60 Hope Street.

Mrs Aughton, Ms Glenville, Mr Hird and Ms Sharp had a wonderful time which was capped by the winning of the award.

Our entry was based on the Christmas performance created by our school last year – Tales From the Factory Floor (for which we were also shortlisted for the WOW Award). It was a very anxious moment as they read out all in the final short list and the amazing work that other schools had done. But Netherton Moss proved to be ‘Outstanding’.

Everyone should be very proud of themselves for the hard work, endurance and creative spirit that is invested in each performance we make. They are totally unique. Nobody else in the area does anything like what we do each year.

Well Done Netherton Moss and all who immerse themselves in making each production so spectacular. Tales Form the Factory Floor was not only loved and appreciated by our family and friends, it was recognised as being a special achievement by those who read our submission.
