Goodbye to Mrs Scott

Mrs Scott at her leaving party
There were many tears in the final Christmas assembly as Mrs Scott said goodbye to Netherton Moss. She has retired after many years of happy service to this school. We will miss her so very much. She has been an inspiration to many generations of children and has lead her staff with incredible vigor and enthusiasm – it’s been hard to keep up!!

Mrs Scott became headteacher after Mr Miller retired and has seen the school through a number of different changes.

Just recently all her hard work has paid off with the excellent ‘value added’ results which put our school within the top 100 in the country, and with a ‘Good’ OfSED judgment in their last visit.

Such hard work meant that Mrs Scott was invited to 10 Downing Street with other top heads, to meet Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister.
